Important Notice

The Practice has been informed by the Health & Social Care Board that some patients have been contacted by “bogus callers” claiming to be linked to the Practice in order to sell products or extract financial information including bank details.

If you receive a call of this nature, DO NOT disclose any personal information and contact the surgery immediately.

Out of Hours

LAGANDOC, the local out of hours provider, looks after the urgent needs of patients from 6.00 pm to 8.30 am weekdays, and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays.  Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Appointments

Appointments can be made through reception. Telephone 028 9260 3111 or via this website with your login (ask at reception for details). Normal appointments are for 10 minutes only and cannot accommodate two people unless prior agreed by the doctor.  Please note that appointments that will require longer than 10 minutes such as minor surgical procedures or private medicals are not appropriate to book online and should be booked by telephone.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can order you repeat prescriptions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on the 24 hour repeat prescription line (02892603111 option 1) or through this website with your login (ask at reception for details).

Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Bsc Specialist Nursing Practice (ANP), NMP Dip, Asthma, COPD, IHD, Diabetes, Breast / Cervical Screening.

Wendy Forsythe is a highly experienced member of the Practice Team who is able to diagnose and treat your health care needs or refer you to an appropriate specialist if needed.

Acting within her professional boundaries; she will provide care for patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.

Please contact reception to arrange an appointment.

Treatment Room Nurses

Treatment Room Nurses

Limited nursing services are now provided by appointment in Treatment Room 1 on Level 2.  Routine blood testing, blood pressure checks and urine testing are now carried out without an appointment in the Blood Room on the ground floor of the Lisburn Health Centre.  Please contact reception staff for further details.

Referral to the Treatment Room and Blood Room is normally arranged by the doctor.

For all other procedures, you will need to book an appointment for Treatment Room 1 on Level 2.  Please note that for ear syringing, you need to make an appointment with a GP first.

Opening times for the Blood Room are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8.30 am - 5.30 pm

Wednesday                                    - 8.30 am - 12.30 pm

Please note that the Treatment Room closes on Wednesdays at 12.30 pm.
